Living under occupation in the details of daily life is an invisible reality. The accumulation of daily oppression is not seen by the other side, who lives in a neighboring place just a few meters away, nor by people in the world. The work aims to shed light on the daily life of those living under occupation and to examine how affected, or unaffected, they are by it. Interviews were conducted with eight people currently living in Jerusalem—Palestinians and Israelis from different backgrounds. Some are Palestinian citizens of Israel, others are Jerusalemites with Jerusalem ID cards (stateless or "blue" ID), and some are Jewish Israelis. Roi Rob Photography: Rawan Julani
